dmXLAN Switch 8 Units

Having different protocols running on the same Ethernet network will overload and saturate the best "off the shelf" switch. For this specific purpose ELC has designed this simple to operate, highly professional tool, pre-programmed switch for the needs of the lightng and stage industry.

4 configurations:

- 8x 10/100mBit on Neutrik Ethercon
- 6x 10/100mBit on Neutrik Ethercon and 2x 100mBit Fibre Optic on
SC connector.

(Both versions also available with Power over Ethernet source option on 6 ports.)

Features include:

- Real-Time backup loop: Create a ring of switches. If a
cable/connection fails, then the signals are directly re-routed
and a message is displayed in the dmXLAN software.
- Multi-cast filtering: routing of multi-cast protocols on a port
base (example MA-net/ACN/digital audio).
- Artnet Filtering: setup a port to filter the Artnet universes.
This is useful for low-bit rate connections like wireless or 10mBit
equipment. The port will only pass through enabled universes.
- Cable testing: if there is a problem in a UTP cable, the switch can
test the cable and tell you where the problem is (up to 80cm
accurate).
