Leprecon ULD Dimmers are designed for continuous duty operation at rated load. The standard 15 amp dimmer requires a properly sized supply current.

To assure proper dimmer operation, it is recommended that 20 amp circuits be provided for the dimmer. This allows full load operation, and conservative rating of the installed branch breaker, installed wiring and outlet connectors.

If extension cords are required, they should be rated for 15 amps of load current; 12 guage conductors are recommended.
